Catherine
B. Krause was
born in Indianapolis, raised in Youngstown, Ohio and educated in
Carlisle, PA. She currently lives in DuPont Circle, Washington,
D.C. where she writes poetry in English, Esperanto, Interlingua and
Latin.
Her
small publishing company, Diamond Point Publishing, has released
books by Howie Good, Mutiu "The Jungle Poet" Olawuyi and
three literary journals. It currently puts out the Tumblr
blog Liebamour,
based on the former literary journal and WordPress blog of the same
name.
Catherine
is a strong supporter of the free content and free software
movements, and her previously-published poems are always re-released
under a Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Unported License. She became
a vegan on September 13, 2013.
